I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! To continue with the holiday spirit this weeks challenge at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday challenge blog is to make a Christmas themed card.
I did a card that was very easy to make. I bought some of these vintage looking gift tags after Christmas last year on major clearance. All I did was stamp the sentiment at the bottom of it and double matted it. I used some Dew Drops to cover the little whole where the string was, added some patterened paper, a flower and some ribbon and that's it.
Now if you plan on making any Christmas cards at all you might as well do one this week and enter it in the challenge at SSDS. The Cutting Cafe is sponsoring our challenge once again this week so if you are the lucky winner you will be receiving some goodies from their store. Be sure to check out all the other Christmas cards that our DT's did also.

I did not do a good job on the pictures. I should have put this on a white background since there is so much brown in the card. I would have retaken the pictures but I already mailed the card out to my neice for her birthday.
I put a little notch at the bottom on the card pull out and slipped a gift card in there.
You should really give this card a try. It's easy but yet impressive when it's done. Also go check out

Try your hand (oops sorry - no pun intended hehehe) at this sketch. Check it out at D-IC Challenge Blog and see what our other creative designers did too. As always the winner will something special from Digital-Ink Co.

Wouldn't that make a great vintage Easter card or Mother's day card. Oh or a birthday card for your grandma.
I think this is what I think Edward and Bella would look like as kids and after Bella has "changed". : ) She also has some great silhouette images too.

Be sure to check out the challenge over at D-IC and what the other DT's created with this recipe. This week the prize is from

Today I have the priveledge of being the Guest Designer at
The next image is the lady at the window. I really took liberties with this one. : ) I was in the mood to make a Halloween card so instead of making pretty little blue birds, I colored them black. I used a new punch I have from Martha Stewart called "Scary Branch" and formed them into trees around the window. The paper is from Cosmo Cricket their Haunted Halloween collection. I colored the image with Copics. I think it's actually a strange Halloween card but hey it's Halloween, strange is allowed, right?!

I embossed the Happy Halloween with black embossing ink then went over it with clear glaze pen and added some purple glitter.
