Black, White and Yellow - Bridal Shower

This post is going to have LOTS of pictures. My neice got married on 11-11-11 and I decorated this Bridal Shower for her. As you can tell her wedding colors were Black, White and Yellow.
I had a lot of fun putting it all together.

I found this "Bride" bling sticker from Jolee's at Wal-Mart.
Added it to a big yellow candle, then set it on a black plate and surrounded the bottom with big faux diamonds. Found those at Wal-Mart too.

This was a plain black "holder" from Target, I found in the party supply isle. It was flat and had to be put together. Added daisy stickers all around the bottom and black dew drops to the handle.

Found this "W" on clearance at Michaels for around a $1.
Added 3 coordinating ribbons to it and placed in on the table. Added fresh yellow flowers to a premade cake.

These little white buckets were at the $1 store, 3 for a $1. Added ribbon around it and glued on white dew drops. Finished off with 3 ribbons around the handle and filled them with Lemon Heads.

I made custom water bottle labels. This is from a free template I found from Judy Prouse. Megan and Shane

I saved this post so I could use it for the Black, White and One other Color Challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters. So go on over and check out the other pretty creations my fellow Sisters made and they all used different accent colors.

Here are a few pictures of my neice Megan and Shane. Their wedding was in Destin, Florida on 11-11-11. We stayed there for a week in a condo on the beach and had a great time.

Polka Dots

The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge for this week is POLKA DOTS. I covered a composition notebook and made a match birthday card. My son gave it to his teacher for her birthday last month. I added her name in the top section but forgot to take a picture of that.

Halloween Treat Bags

This week I am hosting the challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters. The theme is Halloween. I made these cute little treat bags. It fits 4 pieces of the fun size candy bars. The ribbons on the handle are tied to just the front handle except for the middle one. The middle ribbon on each bag ties both the front and back handle together. I didn't want the reciepants to have to work that hard at getting their candy out. : )

I know there are plenty of patterns out there to make these little treat boxes and you can even cut them out with the Cricut, Big Shot or something like that. I chose an even easier way and cheap too. I found these favor boxes at the $1 store. There are 12 in the package and super simple to put together. I just added paper to the front and back then inked it up a little and added the ribbons. These quick and easy to make but I think turned out really cute.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. : D

Flower Power

It's been a long time since I've posted but I'm finally back with a Sisterhood of Crafters challenge. I hosted the challenge this week and it's called Flower Power. Just use a flower on your project. So here are 3 cards that I came with for this challenge.

The first 2 cards are for similar just using a different image. One is more sophisticated and the other fun. The rose image is from Delicious Doodles.

We have a sponosr this week and it's Pizzazz Aplenty. So go check out the challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters and get in on a chance to win some goodies.

Birthday Notebook and Card

The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge this week is to use ribbon and brads on your project. I made this birthday card and covered a composition book for a one of Kaitlyn's friend. The cupcake image was from an image swap so I don't know the company. I colored it with Copics and printed out "Happy Birthday" for the sentiment.
The paper is from My Minds Eye and is called Quite Contrary. I don't think I would have mixed all those papers together myself so I'm glad the scrap companies do it for me.
Check out with the other Sisters did for their projects and then enter the challenge with your own ribbon and brad creation.
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
C.R.A.F.T. - not a card

In Love with Valentines

I have been sooooo bad about posting lately. I didn't even post the last challenge I did with The Sisterhood of Crafters. A lot has been going on here. My sister's husband passed away suddenly on January 4th and was one of the toughest times I've been through in a long time. Now the kids have been out of school for 2 weeks due to the snow storms we have had and well I'm about to lose my mind! Not that I had much to begin with anyways. ; )

Ok enough of my ramblings and on with the challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters. The challenge is "In Love with Valentines", any project that is Valentine related. Should be pretty easy with Valentine's right around the corner.

I know this picture looks big but the card is actually a 3x3. These are so fun, quick and easy to make.

Now see what the Sisters did for the Valentine project and then enter your own creation in on the challenge.
